Transparentcity.co is a platform that connects renters directly to property managers bypassing brokers and associated fees.  In order to bridge that gap between renters and property managers, we had to spend countless hours researching different property managers and the buildings they manage.  As we continue to research and vet out thousands of buildings, naturally a few apartment buildings stick out like a sore thumb.  One property manager in particular and one building they manage and its available units stuck out due to the asking prices of the apartments.  This is hands down the most expensive apartment in NYC we have on our site.  By far!  Interestingly enough, these units are available to the general public and can be rented directly.  You do not need to go through a broker to rent in these buildings.  At the very least, renting direct would save over $20,000 in broker fees.  Not as if someone needed those savings considering the rent price.

The Details

Urbana is even providing an incentive to rent directly from them by providing one month of free rent on a 24 month lease.  If you look closely at the fine print, you'll notice the incentive will be given away to brokers if they bring you in.  Poof, there goes $21,500!

Very few people can afford to pay $21,500, let alone a $21,500 broker fee, making it the most expensive apartment in NYC.  If you're interested in more affordable renting options like the majority of us, check out transparentcity.co where at least we can help you save the thousands of dollars in broker fees.
